We made our annual trip to Ocean Springs for the 4th. It was so much fun as always. We got there on Thursday night. On Friday we swam in the morning and then headed to New Orleans in the afternoon to see Ashton, Sarah and Leighton. It was so good getting to spend some time with such great friends. Emily enjoyed visiting, but really enjoyed getting to eat beignets. She felt like Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. We got back to Ocean Springs later that night and Cali, Gannon and Cooper had already gotten there. Emily was so excited to see Cooper (and Aunt Cali and Uncle G!)
On Saturday we had our annual 3rd of July cookout with Tommy's Aunt, Uncle and cousins. That is always a fun day of hanging out by the pool, eating and drinking! The kids love having all the attention.
We spent all day Sunday by the pool. It was such a relaxing day. Emily had a ton of fun swimming like a "mermaid" and jumping off the diving board. Cole enjoyed dipping his toes in the water. On Sunday night Cali, Gannon, Tommy and I made our annual 4th of July trip to the Casino. Gannon had the best night, but we all had fun being there. Can't wait until next time.
We really hated it when Monday rolled around and we had to pack up to come home. We look forward to our next trip back to Ocean Springs.
