Little Fireplug

Cole is 2 months old already! We had his 2 month check up yesterday. He now weighs 13lbs 3oz and is 23 inches long. His weight is in the 90th percentile and his height is in the 50th percentile. I think the doctor used the term "fireplug" to describe him. He is a growing boy that is for sure. He is already outgrowing some of his 3 month clothes.
Cole is a good eater and sleeper. We are starting to have stretches of 6 hours at night. He is definitely more awake and alert during the day. He loves to smile at you and talk...even if you aren't listening. Emily is still very sweet to him. He likes to smile at her when she is around. The other day I was getting on to Emily for something and Cole was "laughing" as I was yelling at her. I think I am going to have my hands full with these two!

Happy Haloween

This year Halloween was a lot of fun. Emily really got into it. When I would ask her what she wanted to be, somedays she would say Cinderella and others she would say Tinkerbell. So she got to be a princess and a fairy. La came into town on Friday to help out with all the Halloween festivities. On Friday night we went to Downtown Disney to trick-or-treat. She wore her princess dress. Cole wore his pumpkin onesie.

Then on Saturday night we had her school Halloween party. She got to dress up as a fairy. They went on a hayride to trick-or-treat. She enjoyed going the houses and getting candy. When they got back, we watched a Peter Pan play. It was really cute. Then it was off to the Halloween games. They bobbed for apples, did mummy bowling, haunted house bean bag toss and some other fun games. It was a great night (but very HOT). I think Emily had a lot of fun. We sure are enjoying all the candy!!

Princess Breakfast

We just got finished with a wonderful visit from Mammie. It was a well needed visit. She hadn't seen Cole since he came home from the hospital. We were very excited to have her come. One of the special things she planned while visiting was to take Emily to the Princess breakfast at Epcot; Cole and I got to go too! This was such a special breakfast. We got a visit at our table from all the different princesses and a special surprise visit from Cinderella. She isn't usually at that breakfast, but ocassionally makes special appearances. Emily was in awe.

Aurora Cinderella Aerial

We also got to see all the Mickey characters in the Character spot at Epcot. Emily likes to give them hugs and kisses. I think she liked Goofy the most.

To top off a great day, we had a special character viewing thanks to Mammie's Disney visa card. It is a special character spot for Disney card members. It's a surprise of who is in the room. We were lucky we got to see Goofy, Minnie and Donald. It was really a great little visit. The video is of Emily dancing and entertaining the characters.

A Day at the Zoo

Aunt Steph came to visit a couple of weeks ago and we took the kids to the zoo. We had a preview of fall weather that day so it made the zoo even more enjoyable. Aunt Steph and Emily had a chance to feed the goats. Emily had a good time doing that. We were sure to wash hands really good afterwards!
