She is very into Santa Claus this year too. When we go to any store and sees something she likes, I ask her who do you need to tell and she will say Santa. She even practices telling the Santa in the pictue what she wants. Too cute! We also have "Joey" our Elf on the Shelf keeping an eye out for Santa of all the good and bad things Emily is doing. This past weekend we finally went to see Santa. We tried to be classy and go see the Santa at the mall, but after figuring it would be about a 3 hour wait with all the families that were in line we headed to Bass Pro Shops. Let's just say we were the best dressed family in line (or in the whole place!) Emily gave Santa a big hug and told him about the Princess stuff she wanted. She did such a great job. I am looking forward to Christmas Eve and Christmas day. It is going to be a lot of fun seeing the excitement on her face.

Getting ready for Christmas
Emily has been very excited about Christmas this year. Decorating the tree this year was definitely entertaining. Emily helped with all the ornaments. She liked seeing all the different ones. She was sure to comment on how beautiful they were too. So far we have only had 2 broken ornaments. Not too bad for a dog and two kids!

It's Great to Be from Alabama!
This past weekend Tommy and I went to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. We had a blast. The weather in Atlanta was very cold compared to our typical Florida weather. We got to Atlanta Friday night and met Cali and Gannon at the hotel. We went to a delicious dinner and then out for a drink or two.
Then Saturday the fun really began. We got up and got ready for a great day. We tailgated with Andrew, Tina, Steph, Cali, Gannon and some of Andrew's friends. It was very cold, but worth it. The game itself was awesome if you are an Alabama fan. The team couldn't have played any better. We had great seats in the end zone and were able to cheer the Crimson Tide to a big victory. Now the team is off to California (unfortunately not us) for the National Championship game. Roll Tide!
Also, I want to thank Dad and Susie for coming into town on Friday and watching the kids all weekend long. I know they enjoyed having you here and we definitely appreciate it!

Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving!
Where's Cole?
This year we celebrated Thanksgiving in Hilton Head with the Plousis family. It was so nice. This year I am so thankful for a wonderful family and two happy and healthy children. We are very blessed. Both Cole and Emily were great in the car which makes a pleasant trip anywhere. Tommy and I had the luxury of staying at my parents condo with Cole and they kept Emily. In case I haven't said it before, Cole likes to sleep in in the morning and Emily doesn't, so it was a little vacation for us. Dad and Susie were great hosts and provide alot of grandkid watching time. Tommy and I got to play golf on Friday with Andrew and Dad. It was a little cool, but lots of fun. Then we all sat around and bit our nails through the Alabama/Auburn game.
victory smiles
Luckily we won, or it would have been a long night. Saturday we had family pictures made on the beach. I am anxiously waiting to get those back. Overall it was a nice little trip to Hilton Head; lots of food, family and fun!Now we (Tommy and I) are getting ready to head to Atlanta for a fun SEC Championship game weekend. ROLL TIDE!
