Well, Cole is now 2 weeks old and we are finally starting to get used to our new routine. Overall things have been going really well. Emily is an awesome big sister and Cole is a pretty easy going baby. Emily is continuing to go to school two days a week which is really helpful for me. Those are my days to run errands and get some stuff done around the house. I think it is much easier to head out with one than with both of them right now. When she is not at school, I am doing my best to keep her entertained and not feel left out. We have now made Tuesdays our baking days. The first week we made cookies and Emily was in charge of sprinkles. She did a great job. This week we made peanut butter cookies with Reeses peanut butter cups. Her job is to peel the wrapper off the candies while I put the dough in the pan. She does a really good job, but usually manages to eat one or two peanut butter cups in the mean time. It sure is fun though.
We also had our next set of visitors this past weekend, Uncle Andrew and Aunt Tina. It was so great to have them for a couple of days. Emily was especially excited since they took her to Disney World on Sunday. I know she enjoyed her special day. She couldn't stop talking about it and all the characters she got to see.
We are looking forward to our other visitors in October.
