Breckenridge

Tommy and I won a trip to Breckenridge at his Christmas Party. Encore payed for our flight, hotel and rental car. It was such a great little getaway for us. We got to Colorado on a Thursday and flew home on Sunday. We spent our first day walking around Breckenridge and getting settled to the altitude change. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at a Mexican restaurant right across from our hotel. Then on Friday we took a snowboarding lesson from Steve, our neighbors brother. That was entertaining. It was a beautiful snowy day. After many falls, we finally made it down the mountain. We decided after a couple of runs we had had enough for one day and went in to relax. Tommy had a bout with some altitude sickness, so we took it easy the rest of Friday so we could be ready to go Saturday. Saturday went a little better, not as many falls, but still enough to make me very sore! Saturday afternoon we went on a sleigh ride. It was very pretty and cold. Then on Sunday we got up and hit the slopes one last time before heading to Denver to get on our flight home. It was such a nice trip. We really enjoyed ourselves, but it was nice to be back home.
