Springtime Fun

We have been keeping busy doing lots of fun things. We are often out on the weekends doing things to stay cool. We took our first trip to Aquatica (Seaworlds waterpark) on Mother's Day. It was such a great day. Emily had such a fun time going down the kiddy water slides with her friends and playing in the water. Cole also enjoyed getting his toes wet. We are looking forward to going back again soon. Emily also got to swim at one of the Disney resort pools after my Muddy Buddy race. She had so much fun swimming from the stairs to anyone who was willing to catch her. She is getting really brave and improving in her swimming skills. If we aren't at a pool or park you can usually find us out on the boat going to "2-time Beach" (a great little beach area across the lake).

Tommy has been enjoying the spring with some bass fishing tournaments. He and our neighbor Bryan are part of an Xtreme Bass Fishing club that holds tournaments once a month. They are getting closer and closer each tournament to wining. Good news is he has a lot of fun trying.

Emily is continuing to enjoy school. She is still going 2 days a week. On the days she is not in school we are usually off doing something fun. We have been venturing out with our neighbors to the pool, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. It has been quite an adventure 2 adults with 5 kids ages 4 and under all piled in one Suburban. It makes for a fun and exciting day. The kids have a lot of fun and I enjoy hanging out with Patty. Needless to say at the end of the day we are all pooped!

Cole is continuing to keep me on my toes. He is crawling faster than ever and will pull himself up on anything he can find. Sometimes he is stronger then he thinks and instead pulls things down onto himself. :( He is still such a ham anytime the camera comes out. He loves to smile and copy the faces or sounds you make. I am looking forward to him crawling and playing in the sand.

We have a lot more planned this summer. We are going to be in Hilton Head for Memorial Day weekend, followed by Emily's birthday weekend then Ocean Springs for the 4th of July. Lots of fun things ahead!
